I received this Black et black Mycrolator kit a little while ago now* (*little while ago in Elle world means around 3months. Woops. wasn't joking when you said lazy bitch of a blogger was you?) The Mycrolator Skin prep kit - in my own words and obviously not those of the instruction booklets - is a class 1 medical device medical grade stainless steel micro projection strips (OK, I
I received two oil serums - one for Blemished skin, and one for mature skin. Now I've got the technical stuff out the way, let's wack a few pictures on and actually have a chat about how this bad boy works yeah? Yeah, I think that's a good idea too ;) Cue shockingly bad photography, the world's worst describing skills...and probably a lame joke or two here or there. 100% a lame joke here or there. Story of your blog love!
Now, I have to be totally honest - this is me after all, my middle name should be blunt! - when I first read about what the Mycrolator does, I did
Mature Skin - Now, I'm going to 'say it how it is' - polite term for being a blunt mother f**ker - with this one. I don't have mature skin as I'm just in my 20's, neither is my skin dry or could in any way reflect that of a mature person's skin, soooo in the nicest possible way *cue cringe as somebody took the time to send this to me for free* it did nothing for me whatsoever. (You really are a blunt mother f**ker!) It felt heavier on my skin than the oil targeted for blemished skin, possibly even bordering on cloggy (cloggy? Dear English teachers, I wished I've have listened in our adjectives lesson) and the last time I checked, clogged up skin/skin resembling Cristiano Ronaldo's greasy hair isn't a good look!
As is the case with everything in life - oh god, here she goes with life lessons. Preach it sister! - what works for one person, may have no effect whatsoever on another. And if I'm completely honest, I think this is the case with the mycrolator. I genuinely think some of you will love this, the drier skinned girls out there especially, but...it just didn't do it for me.
You can buy the Mycrolator* online here. They have a few different kit options so if you want a starter pack to give it a go first before you commit to a full kit (errr, that is what a starter pack normally does love) you can do so for £39.00.
Have any of you heard of/tried out this - or any other - Mycrolator before? If so, I would love to know what you made of it!
Hope you enjoyed this post guys. As always, thanks so much for reading!
P.S Sincere apologies for being M.I.A lately.
P.P.S Even sincerer apologies for trying to sound like a Kardashian and actually just sounding like a massive tit!
